NAIROBI: HIGH MP Ndindi Nyoro has mentioned the origin of his relationship with the President William Ruto Following his removal as chairman of the National Parliamentary Committee on Budget and Supply.

During a press conference on Tuesday, March 18, Nyoro revealed that his relationship with President William Ruto began to deteriorate in October 2024, during the process of removing former Deputy President, Rigathi Gachagua.
He noted that his last political talks with Ruto took place before October 2024, a sign that their friendship had entered the spot.
For a long time, Nyoro has remained silent about the process of removing Gaita from power and was not present when the debate began in the national parliament.
“You asked me about the relationship between the President and the former Deputy President. The opportunity I have is that I respect every leader. Nyoro said.
Nyoro is dismissed in the rank of Budget Committee Chairman
After Gachagua was ousted from power, efforts began to exclude the alleged rebellious leaders in parliament, with Nyoro appearing to be one of the target.
He was removed from his post and was replaced by Alego Usonga MP, Samuel Atandi, as chairman of the most influential budget committee.
The action was taken after a public agreement in which Ruto and the ODM leader, Raila Odingathey signed a compromise agreement (MoU), a sign of their intention to political cooperation.

Was Nyoro given information about his removal?
Nyoro revealed that he was not officially informed of his removal as chairman of the important parliamentary committee.
He said that no leader from his political camp had reached him to discuss his role or even give him guidance on what he had to improve.
“No one from my union has ever followed me about the opportunity, telling me what I needed to improve or change. I read myself in the newspapers, just how you read it,” Said Nyoro.
Nyoro Responds to his removal from the Budget Committee
At the same meeting, Nyoro explained that he felt a personal betrayal of the Union Kenya firstespecially considering the great opportunity he took in the 2022 general election campaign.
The Kiharu MP explained that his anger was not due to losing the office of the Budget Committee, but because no one considered him to be so important to inform him in advance about the decision.
In addition, he noted that so far, he has not understood the reasons for his removal, as no one has ever told him any defects or areas he has to improve.
