In a span of two months, the former Rainbow FC player has been linked with two clubs. However, Tusker rejected an advance from Swedish second-tier side Ostersunds, two weeks after Algerian outfit  USM Alger failed to secure the deal ahead of the January 31, 2025 deadline, despite their willingness to trigger his $30,000 release clause.

The Joe Kadenge stadium, formerly City stadium, which previously served as home ground for Gor Mahia is expected to be in usable condition following renovations.

According to Mozzart Sport, Ostersunds FK approached Tusker with an offer to sign Ogam. Their proposal, however, did not include any upfront cash. Instead, they suggested a 40% sell-on clause for any future transfer, a deal Tusker swiftly rejected without consideration.

The Swedish club made it clear they were interested in a permanent transfer. “We are interested in your player Ryan Wesley Ogam Rabok (2004.12.21) regarding a permanent transfer to Östersunds FK from March 1, 2025,” the offer letter from Ostersunds read in part, where also, the team stated its willingness to meet the release clause.

Former Harambee Stars coach Francis Kimanzi has shed light on Benni McCarthy’s thoughts on the quality of the Kenyan national football team.

The team went ahead to trigger the clause, an offer rejected by the brewers who countered it with their own terms and conditions.

The 13-time FKFPL champions countered with a demand of €100,000 (approximately 14 million Ksh) and a 30% sell-on clause, a proposal that Ostersunds promptly declined.

Benni McCarthy’s Harambee Stars assistant slams South Africa’s best team over lack of sportsmanship

Harambee Stars goalkeeper trainer Moeneeb Josephs has hit out at the South African giants for not showing respect and sportsmanship following their recent league loss.

“Having reviewed the offer shared and keeping in mind the calibre of player Ogam is, his age, and the value he will bring to your club, kindly see below our counteroffer for his release: 1. Transfer fee – €100,000. 2. Player sell-on – 30%. We look forward to hearing from you to finalize this process,” Tusker’s proposal read.

Ogam was part of Harambee Stars team for the Mapinduzi Cup early this year in Tanzania. Although Tusker’s form has dipped lately, Ogam is the reason the Charles Okere-coached side are second on the log with 44 points from 24 matches and in a three-way title battle with third-placed Gor Mahia and table toppers Police FC.
