The Premier League legend believes Bruno Fernandes has done all he can for Manchester United and should leave to find a club that matches his talent and ambition.
Premier League legend Joe Cole has advised Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes to leave the club, as his stay there is long overdue.
The former Chelsea midfielder explained that there is nothing more Bruno Fernandes can do for the club and urged him to go and pursue other clubs with the aim of one day winning a trophy.
This season alone, Fernandes has scored 16 goals and made 15 assists for Manchester United. However, that does not take away the club’s poor run.

Former Harambee Stars coach Francis Kimanzi has shed light on Benni McCarthy’s thoughts on the quality of the Kenyan national football team.
With such dismal performances, Bruno Fernandes has faced a lot of criticism being the club captain with the likes of Manchester United legend Roy Keane calling him out.
As per Daily Mail, Joe Cole believes the only way Bruno Fernandes will be able to rise again would be if he leaves the club in search of greener pastures.
The former Liverpool midfielder highlighted that Fernandes has the talent and he only needs to join a club that will match that and win trophies with him, Manchester United not being an option.

The Joe Kadenge stadium, formerly City stadium, which previously served as home ground for Gor Mahia is expected to be in usable condition following renovations.
“If I’m Bruno Fernandes, I’d absolutely be looking for a move away from Manchester United. He’s the first butterfly and he’s getting all the arrows from everyone,” Cole said.
“He must go home at night and wonder why everyone is digging him out when he’s the only one pulling his weight in this team.
“There are others doing okay but he is literally dragging that club through this dire moment. When all is said and done and Bruno leaves United and maybe they return to the top, they’ll look back at this era and the only shining light will be Bruno Fernandes.”

Harambee Stars goalkeeper trainer Moeneeb Josephs has hit out at the South African giants for not showing respect and sportsmanship following their recent league loss.
Joe Cole explained that Bruno Fernandes is capable of doing exceptionally well if he plays for any football club but noted that Manchester United do not give him his flowers as often as they should.
He further pointed out that despite his great form, he still faces a lot of criticism from fans, something that is not right for a player who has dedicated himself to serving the club.
Since joining Manchester United, Bruno Fernandes has scored 95 goals and provided 81 assists in 277 games.
“He’s a fantastic footballer and you could put him into most teams, and he’d thrive, but I don’t think he’s won a league in his career and he needs to go and prove to himself that he can play in a top side because he’s run his race at Manchester United,” Cole added.
“He should leave that club with everyone; the owners, fans and the manager giving him his flowers because he gets all the stick.
“And that’s part and parcel of being a Manchester United footballer but how must he feel when he’s getting all the pelters despite being the one with the goals, assists and driving the team forwards.”
Joe Cole strongly believes that Bruno Fernandes and insisted that he is running out of time if he stays at Manchester United longer.
Last season, Manchester United stumbled to an eighth-place finish in the Premier League, and this season, with just nine games remaining, their fight for relevance is fading fast.
