Former Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo and his family are filled with sadness following the sudden death of their daughter and sister, Lorraine Elizabeth Khalamwa Jelagat Jirongo.

Lorraine died on March 10 after a short illness and is expected to be buried at a private event at their home Kitale On March 21.
During the funeral service of Lorraine at the AIC church in Nairobi, Jirongo laughed at the mourners as he recounted how he met and later separated from his first wife, Carolyne.
Why did Cyrus Jirongo separate from his first wife?
He narrated how his mother Lorraine, Carolyne, was considered the most beautiful girl at the time, and could not restrain herself from making his wife.
“Mom knows she had the most beautiful girl in this city, and there was no way, with my big eyes, I couldn't see her. I would drop my people if I didn't see her,” He said.
Jirongo noted that things were good at first with Carolyne, and they were given their first child, Lorraine.
However, he admitted that his eyes continued to crave other women, a behavior that Carolyne could not bear, and thus divorced.
“I had a bad habit. My eyes continued to blow because they were huge, so he left me because I had three others. He couldn't bear my bad behavior,” He narrated as the mourners laugh.

How Jirongo's friend, you, Waiyaki, married his former wife of the politician
The former MP explained that due to his behavior, Carolyne left her and later married her friend, Munyua Waiyaki.
“After that, Caro married Munyua, and that's why you see a lot of names here. He said.
Jirongo continued in a joke, telling people not to ask him questions as he had already made the family tree open.
Munyua, who stood up after being invited by Jirongo, admitted that he appeared to take over when Jirongo missed direction.
“We worked with Cyrus, and we saw he had other people. Maybe he lost focus because his eyes were everywhere, and I was behind him. Some you heard from him,” Said Munyua.
The two families introduced their children in front of friends and mourners, with Waiyaki's abortion for the first time with his older brothers.
“What we have added to you, Cyrus, it's height,” Munyua struggled when he handed his son a microphone.
