Kenyan fans have been encouraged to buy tickets in large numbers to help push Harambee Stars during their 2026 World Cup qualifier against Gabon at Nyayo Stadium on Sunday.

Despite Victor Wanyama’s stay being short since he left in 2013, he achieved huge milestones and Scott Brown is grateful to have shared the pitch with the Kenyan.

Scott Brown would eventually leave the club in June 2021 to join Aberdeen as a player-coach. At Celtic, Victor Wanyama won two league titles and scored in the famous 2-1 win against Barcelona.

In an interview with Give Me Sport, Scott Brown admitted that when Victor Wanyama joined the club, everyone was afraid of challenging him since he was undeniably one of the best.
