Apart from Nyako, the grandmother of the late TikToker Brian Chira, in February 2025, posted a video on the platform expressing her desire to sell her house and relocate, despite having received significant support from well-wishers just a year ago.

In an attempt to clarify her intentions, Chira’s grandmother explained her desire to move to a container house, citing security reasons.

She assured the public that she had no plans to sell the house without telling the community.

Sitauza vitu vyenu bila ruhusa yenu.Nataka make chini muone shosho atakaa aje. Kama mtanitafutia electric fence ama kununua shamba na kunijengea mahali pengine. Kulikuwa na wezi hivi majuzi na nilimpigia Obidan simu lakini hakupokea. Wanaiba ng’ombe na vitu vingine. Hakuna usalama,” Chira’s grandma explained.

She also emphasized that she was not seeking financial assistance but rather support to enhance her security.

Acknowledging the life-changing impact that TikTokers had on her life, she expressed gratitude while highlighting her safety concerns.
