Wangari touched Kenyans and gave them tears to his sincere message to his daughter before he was hanged in Vietnam.

In tears, she expressed her love for her daughter, saying she believed in her innocence despite the Vietnam court sentenced her to death.

The sad mother expressed hope of seeing and hugging her daughter, asking for a miracle that would lead to being released and returned to Kenya.

“God will fight for you; He is righteous. May God protect you. I cannot wait to hug you when you return home safe. We ask for a miracle,” Said Wangari.

What crime did Margaret Nduta commit?

Nduta was arrested at Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport in Ho Chi Minh in July 2023 and was later found guilty of transporting more than two kilograms of drugs in the country.

The drugs were found at the load of the 37 -year -old woman when she arrived in the South East Asian country.

According to reports, Nduta was trapped by a man in Kenya who paid him to transport the luggage to Laos.

When he was presented to court, the Kenyan insisted that he did not know about the presence of the illegal drugs.

However, the prosecution dismissed his claim, saying he was just trying to avoid responsibility for his actions.

They emphasized that anyone who is arrested for that amount of drugs must be held accountable in accordance with Vietnam's law.
