Kenyan socialite and entrepreneur Huddah Monroe has showered praises on Kenyan women for their resilience and ability to push men toward financial growth and investment.

In a series of Instagram stories on Monday, March 17, 2025, Huddah acknowledged the role women play in society, especially in ensuring the stability of their families and encouraging men to invest. She emphasized how Kenyan women, particularly mothers, step up when fathers fail to provide, doing whatever it takes to ensure their children receive an education.

Huddah also highlighted how Kenyan women influence wealthy men to invest in Kenya. She noted that when a Kenyan woman meets a rich man, her first instinct is to advise him on buying land or making strategic investments in the country. She suggested that if more Kenyan men with financial means were willing to spend and invest, the country would have made even greater strides economically.

“Kenyan women are so resilient! Kuna wazimu kiasi but 90% hold down. Starting with Mother’s, When dads don’t act up! They wake up and do whatever it takes to make sure their kids are at least educated. Mdem Mkenya when they meet a Rich man they start telling him to buy land in Kenya! They start advising them on investments. Ni vile tuu Kenyan men wale wakona pesa, they don’t like spending, tungekuwa mbali sana. I’m so proud of you all! And when I say Kenyan I mean plus Somalis That’s why all have coexisted for this long,” Huddah Monroe stated.

Lazy men

This follows months after the socialite advised Kenyan women to avoid lazy men who lack ambition.

The entrepreneur also cautioned her female followers against taking advice from individuals who may not be practising what they preach online.

“Moral of the story: 1: Don’t listen to people who aren’t where you wanna go, marry whoever you want! As long as he is not lazy. A lazy man is a crazy man. His mind is the devil’s workshop,” Huddah stated.

“A lot of online married women who tell you to marry rich men are married to broke men. That math always fails to math.”

In a previous post, Huddah expressed her perspective on the kind of women men should pursue. She discouraged men from dating women with what she termed as ‘cheap lifestyles,’ arguing that such partners may not inspire ambition. To her, a person’s drive and way of life play a crucial role in a relationship’s success.

“Avoid cheap women at all costs. Date a rich gyal! And see how your brains open up to make bigger deals. Unless you are a lazy man who doesn’t want to sit with kings, making kingdom deals. Or a man who dates other men,” she wrote.

Huddah emphasized that a woman’s influence can shape a man’s success or struggles. In her view, being with a woman who appreciates luxury can push a man to achieve greater goals, while a partner with a cheap mindset may hinder his progress.

“A woman can bring out the king out of a man or the slave in him. Do not date anyone who likes cheap things. You can hit and run though—I know men like easy things,” she remarked.
