Kelly Madada

Kelly Madada has been making waves since breaking into the first team at  AFC Leopards this season.

Madada’s journey at AFC Leopards has been marked by standout performances, including a remarkable full league debut where he registered two assists in a 4-1 victory against Tusker.

CAF president Patrice Motsepe has set high expectations for his fellow South African Benni McCarthy who was recently appointed Harambee Stars coach.

The young midfielder has expressed his ambition to secure a call-up to the senior Harambee Stars team, aiming to follow in Beja’s footsteps. The dream came to pass last January when immediate former interim coach Francis Kimanzi called him up for the Mapinduzi Cup in Pemba Islands, where he was able to score two goals.

Manzur Suleiman Okwaro

Manzur Suleiman Okwaro earned a late call up to Benni McCarthy’s provisional 50-man squad alongside Kariobangi Sharks’ Sebastian Wekesa.

He is currently making strides as a center-back for KCB, and was a standout player for Salim Babu’s  U-20 team Rising Stars, partnering Amos Wanjala as the side secured qualification for the U-20 AFCON set to take place later this month.

Okwaro’s journey began at St. Anthony’s Boys High School in Kitale, where he honed his skills before joining Rainbow FC in the National Super League.

Kenya dealt a blow in the construction of stadia earmarked for AFCON 2027

Kenya has been dealt a blow in its ambitious multi-billion Talanta stadium project earmarked for AFCON 2027 with audit revealing millions lost.

His impressive displays caught the attention of scouts, leading to trials with French side Nantes B in 2023. Although he did not secure a move at the time, the experience in Europe was invaluable.

In 2024, Okwaro signed with 11 Management, a reputable player agency that also represents Kenyan international Erick “Marcelo” Ouma.

This partnership has positioned him for a potential move to Europe, with his representatives expressing confidence in his abilities. Okwaro has stated that his ultimate dream is to sign with a European club, and he continues to work tirelessly to achieve this goal.

Andreas Odhiambo

The other player who has been making waves in the FKF Premier Legaue is Andreas Odhiambo.

Currently playing for Kariobangi Sharks , he became the youngest ever FKFPL goascorer at just  16 years, 11 months, and 10 days old.

Odhiambo’s inclusion in the Harambee Stars’ provisional squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers further highlights his rising profile.
