Mombasa: A woman who disappeared 1 month ago was found brutally murdered, a body in a sack

When did Jane Achieng disappear?

Achieng disappeared anonymously on February 6, 2025, leaving his family in pain and worries about where he was.

His unmistakable body was found to have been cut and hidden in a sack, with some parts of his body missing.

The family, while seeking justice following the brutal killings of their relatives, urged its killers to return the lost body parts to perform the appropriate funeral.

The 26 -year -old was reportedly phoning his mother on 6 February 2025, saying he wanted to discuss something important with him. However, he later disappeared without telling them.

“He told me he would return home in January, but when the day came, he postponed and promised to visit February,” Her sister noted.

“He phoned my mother in the evening, but he was on the ferry and promised to make a call again when he got home. We didn't hear him anymore,” She explained to the frustrated sister.

The family set up a banquet to find him, hoping to find the businessman alive. To Luck Worse, they later discovered his body cut off part of Mrima in Likoni.

His sister Achieng said that she received a phone call from a friend who sent her a picture of a lifeless body, asking if she could identify it.

“My friend sent me the picture because she knew I was looking for my sister. he added.

DNA tests confirmed that the body was Jane.

In addition, a report of his body's investigation revealed that he had been hanged before being cut into pieces.

“My mother is bitter. If you raise your daughter and take her to work, then someone kills her in a terrible way. God forgives those criminals,” He said.
