The lower parliament was responding to a letter claimed from the Ethics and Anti -Corruption Commission (EACC), which, as reflected in the letter, removed the nominees and promised to cooperate with the selection committee in the verification process.
The nominees to hold the CS positions as in the letter are Nairobi Senator and ODM Secretary -General Edwin Sifuna, former Minister of Internal Security Fred Matiang'i, former President Uhuru Kenyatta Muhoho Kenyatta, former UNCTAD Secretary -General Mukhisa Kituyi, Professor Makau Mutua, Minister of Agriculture, Peter Munya Munya.
