New reports have emerged in connection with the brutal killing of Campbell Scott, a 58 -year -old Scotland citizen, whose body was found has been thrown into Makongo forest, Makueni County.

Scott, an employee of the US credit rating agent, had traveled to Nairobi for a three -day commercial conference.
However, he disappeared one day after entering the JW Marriott five -star hotel in the capital.
On February 22, Scott's body, which was wrapped in a manila paper along with ripe pineapple, was discovered by herdsmen in Makongo forest.
Following the shocking discovery, three suspects namely Benard Mbunga Mbusu, Samuel Musembi Kamitu and Alphonse Munyao Kilewa were identified.
Their photos have been published on the “required” posters while police intensify efforts to search them.
How did the suspects of the Campbell Scott murder hit him?
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI), Mkusu is believed to be the leader of the criminal gang hunting for wealthy men, especially foreigners.
The gang, mostly made up of family members, uses female partners who draw victims to romantic meetings.
Once the beneficiaries arrive in these separated areas, they are abused, tortured, and stolen – and in other cases, they are killed.
On Sunday, February 16, Scott was trapped in CCTV leaving the famous gay bar in Westlands with an unknown man.
Investigating officials believe he was taken to the apartment at the Pipeline Estate, where he was tortured for his bank details before being killed.

According to the Scottish Daily Express newspaper, the following study revealed that 12,000 pounds (KSh 1.9 million) were released from the Scott account.
The gang has been reported to have been working for many years, using dating programs such as Tinder and Facebook to target victims, especially gay men.

The main suspects of the Scott murder were arrested
Meanwhile, detectives had arrested two senior suspects, Alex Mutua Kithuka and Albanus Mutinda.
Authorities requested overtime to complete their investigation, including court analysis and witnesses.
The suspects will remain in custody at Capital Hill and Kilimani police stations for 21 days.
Police have launched a search to search the suspects and asked the public to report any possible information to arrest them.
What led to the death of Campbell Scott?
Meanwhile, a corpse investigation conducted by Deputy Pathology State Richard Njoroge at Makueni County Referral Hospital failed to identify the exact cause of Scott's death.
Although minor soft tissue injuries were identified, they were considered insufficient to be serious, causing investigators to collect samples for further toxic tests in a state pharmacy.
The incomplete results made the investigation difficult, and forced the detectives to re -evaluate their previous theories.
