Speaking at the funeral service of his late father in Kiminini, Trans Nzoia County, Rachel remembered his last conversation just before leaving for Bomas of Kenya to announce the winner of the 2022 presidential election.

He revealed that it was at that time when he knew that his father had received intelligence information that someone intended to kill him to prevent him from announcing the winner.

“I stayed with him before I went to Bomas. At that time he had already received intelligence information that someone wanted to end his life, just to stop him from announcing the results,” Rachel said.
