The pastor, who had been charged with beating members of the church during worship, was released on bail by the Bomet court, which created excitement in all cities.

The crowd gathered on the road, their happiness was clear when they cheered and danced in appreciation of what they considered to be a positive change of events.

Among those present were Mercy, a church member who previously reported to the police about the incident.
