Fun, 64 Kenyans who were abused in Myanmar camps were saved

How many people were rescued in Myanmar?

The 64 Kenyans are among the 7000 people who were rescued by armed men and are now waiting for Thailand to open its borders with Myanmar to be evacuated to the country.

Surprisingly, Kenyans explained that although they were going through a difficult time, the Kenyan embassy was silent at all times and did not do much to help.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement, claimed that the embassy in Thailand helped negotiate their release.

Since February 12, only 260 people, of which 23 Kenyans were allowed to enter Thailand.

It emerged that fake recruitment agencies are announcing the best paying jobs in Thailand that provide visa fees and planning to citizens.

“The State Department deals with Diaspora issues that leads a team of multi -and -working organizations and works in partnership with the Kenyan Embassy in Bangkok and Haart Kenya has completed plans to restore Kenyan settlements to connect with their families,” read the Diaspora Ministry of Affairs in a statement.
