Where is the girls' mother?
According to journalist Jerome Ogolla, the two children were living with their father who took them to the road and left them at night, expecting that they would be saved by someone.
“Of course they are very young to know where their old house was. What happens to such children?” asked Jerome in his Facebook post.

How did Amoke save the girls?
In an interview with TUKO.co.ke The man who rescued them, known by the name of Amoke, said another neighbor saw the children appearing to be stuck at night and let him know. “We want and warn the head of the community who took them and made sure they were warm. We put their faces on Facebook and left my number,” said Amoka.
“Finally their uncle came and told us he would take them, and vowed not to know where his brother and the young mother were a drunk who had nothing to do with them,” he added.
