Victor Wanyama hints at where he wants to play next as he weighs several offers

Victor Wanyama has hinted at where he is likely to play next as he weighs his options from a number of several offers on his table.

“It feels amazing to be British indoor champion. It was one of my goals this season to get this as last year I picked up the silver outdoors. I wanted to step it up again and I’m over the moon to get it. It puts me 11th in the all-time indoor list so that was another nice bonus,” Hopkins reiterated.

“To get the PB really boosts my confidence going into the outdoor season and makes my targets look really achievable.”

In 2018, she won golds in the Under 23 National Championships in the long jump and the Senior South of England Heptathlon Championship.

She retained her U23 national long jump title in 2019, and competed at the 2019 European Athletics U23 Championships, placing seventh overall in the long jump, in Gävle, Sweden.

Hopkins also competed in the heptathlon, finishing second in the Home Countries International in August 2019.[6]

She was runner-up to Jade O’Dowda at the 2024 British Athletics Championships long jump competition in June 2024. In 2024, she jumped a wind-assisted 6.72m (+2.3) whilst competing in Greece.
