Why did JSC stop dealing with complaints against Koome

However, Rutto explained that the commission could not continue the application due to the ongoing legal disputes in the High Court.

When the JSC began to address the application, at least eight cases were presented in the High Court, to oppose the process and to prevent the commission from continuing disciplinary sessions.

These cases, presented by different sides, including some of the affected judges, have led to the release of a conservative temporary order to prevent the JSC from taking any further action.

“The complaint, among other orders, aims to prevent the JSC from addressing the application and/or requiring judges to submit answers to various claims as they are on the request. Thus, temporary conservative instructions were issued, and prevented the JSC from dealing with the application,” The statement was partially studied.

Among the cases presented is the request of the Nairobi High Court Constitution No. 2025 of 2025, in which CJ Koome himself has opposed the request against him.
