NYAMIRA: The teacher was hospitalized after being launched by the headmaster for delay in school

What started as a normal morning for Vincent Onyancha, a teacher at a school in Ikonge turned into a sad day.

This happened after Onyancha was welcomed by pitches and kicks from the school principal for delaying reporting to the school.

The teacher told Citizen digital That his boss attacked him in front of the students as he taught in the classroom.

“He kicked me with a slap. Then he hugged me to his office where he continued to attack me,” the teacher said.

The teacher was later taken to Ikonge Local Hospital, where she continues with the treatment of injuries she suffered from an attack.

Commenting on the incident, officials of the post -primary education teachers (KUPPET) have condemned the attack on the school principal against the teacher and demanded legal action be taken against him.

The leaders warned that teachers would strike if no action would be taken against the head of the school.
