Why are Nairobi women ready to get into polygamy
According to the results of the study, 51% of Nairobi women have no problem getting into polygamy as long as it comes with economic benefits.

The study revealed that only 29% view marriage as a key goal of life while 53% prefer to remain unmarried.

Among the issues that the study revealed that the main causes of influence in marriage are the prospect of labor, personal freedom and financial freedom.
“Labor expectations 31%, financial independence (52%), and personal independence (17%) were the main reasons for depriving marriage of priority. Social expectations remained among respondents from conservative backgrounds,” research shows.
Additionally, the study also revealed that women with higher education and employed are more likely to be prioritized (67%) compared to those with low education levels (33%).
