Nandi – Police in the Central Nandi area have launched an investigation after unknown people burned the vehicle MCA of Kapkangani ward eliud Kirongo.

The incident happened at 12:20 pm at the Kaka Kapsese village in Kapsese, a Chepsonoi Licer.
According to reports, the invaders burned the Toyota, worth Ksh 800,000, and destroyed its front and back parts.

The reason for the attack is still unknown as detectives from the Criminal Investigation Department (DCI) are working hard to determine the source.
Confirming the incident, Nandi Central OCPD Maurice Okul said the incident was reported at the Kaimosi police station.
MCA Kirongo, who referred to the incident as a targeted attack, revealed that this was his fourth time in acts of destruction.
“Three people burned my private car, KBV 327P, last night at my brother's residence near Kapkangani Primary School. Two and chemical spraying on my tea field, “Kirongo complained.
Despite the attack, he called on Kapkangani residents to be calm, while also congratulating security forces on their immediate response, led by the OCS from the Kaosimi police station and DCI Kapsabet.
