When did Chebikati died?
According to the family, Chebikati passed away on Thursday, February 20 at 11 pm while receiving treatment at Nairobi Hospital.
The former IEBC boss was hospitalized in a hospital in Nairobi where he had been treated for about a week in an intensive care unit at the hospital.
Chebikati was being treated at home but was taken to hospital after the condition worsened.
Chebikati served as the IEBC chairman for the entire six -year term and retired in January 2023.
