Speaking at the Citizen Center on Monday, February 17, Belgut MP Nelson Koech announced as president William Ruto He can soon appoint Raila in government.
Koech said the former prime minister deserved to be rewarded after he failed in the race for the Chairman of the African Union (AUC).
According to the same MP of UDARaila should be included in the ruling government to provide leadership advice to support President Ruto's administration.
“We must look for a structure that will afford Raila Odinga to continue his work.
“We Kenya first We must satisfy that experience and the advice he will give us and will help improve our country and our management, ”Koech said.
Koech, who is the chairman of the defense, intelligence and foreign relations committee in the national parliament, suggested that Raila may be given a great position in the government, perhaps his former position as prime minister.
The UDA MP suggested that the first Kenyan Union could refer to the National Discussion Committee (NADCO) report, to create a vacancy for the ODM leader.
“We can do better by having the Prime Minister's Office. I have a great idea of what could happen,” he said.
Why does Gachagua want Raila to join his team?
Elsewhere, former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua called on the ODM leader to join the Ruto protest movement before the 2027 general election.
In a statement on Sunday, February 16, Gachagua comforted Raila after defeating Mahmoud Ali Youssouf of Djibouti.
Despite encouraging Raila, Gachagua suggested that it may be God's intention to the former prime minister to fail in the AUC intention to fight for Kenyans.
The former deputy president appeared to call on Raila to join those who oppose President Ruto's administration.
