‘Son of a lion is a lion’- Conseslus Kipruto’s son embraces his father’s steeplechase legacy

Conseslus Kipruto is mentoring his son, Eugene Kiprop, to carry on his steeplechase legacy and restore Kenya’s dominance in the event.

Two-time world 3000m steeplechase champion Conseslus Kipruto is coaching his son, Eugene Kiprop to take up where he left off as Kenya seeks to bring back the steeplechase glory.

In a previous interview with The Star, Conseslus Kipruto decried a recurring injury that has slowed him down but there is no need to worry since his son is slowly coming up and will soon continue the legacy his father had started.

Kipruto captioned the video: “It is good to see you, son, following in my footsteps. Son of a lion is a lion—the world awaits you to make history! Keep running with passion and determination.”
