Machakos County Police Commander Patrick Lobolia confirmed the tragic incident, saying that the man killed his girlfriend because it was suspected of being jealous of love.
According to the police chief, the suspect invited his girlfriend to his rental house in the city of Machakos before killing him on Sunday, February 16.
“The incident is suspected of being jealous of the news.
Officials from Machakos police station visited the scene and transported the deceased's body to the mortuary of Machakos Level 5 hospital for investigation.
