Usain Bolt has expressed disappointment in Yohan Blake and others for failing to follow Coach Glen Mills’ guidance, which led to their struggles.

Usain Bolt has unveiled fresh details about the comments he made about Yohan Blake and his other training mates failing to listen to coach Glen Mills.

The world’s fastest man alive has always spoken highly of coach Glen Mills and he pointed out that he was very disappointed when Yohan Blake and Warren Weir blamed the tactician for their struggles.

Usain Bolt revealed that Glen Mills took them in when they had their individual struggles and moulded them into some of the greatest sprinters the world has ever known.

However, after the victory got into their heads, Usain Bolt revealed that they never listened to what coach Glen Mills taught them and when they started facing their struggles, they put the blame on him.

Usain Bolt pointed out that they struggled with a lot of injuries since they never listened to the coach. He revealed that the training he always did was what they were supposed to do but they did not and that’s why he was always shining when they stepped on the track.

“That upset me deeply, you have to understand that I watched Blake come in injured, Warren come in injured, Bailey come in injured and watched other youths come in injured. But the funny thing is that the same coach helped me get to the top,” Usain Bolt said on The Fix podcast.

“Blake is the second fastest man in the world while Warren won a bronze at the Olympics and silver at the World Championships. Coach Mills took him from running the hurdles cause of the issue of his knees and made him a star.

“Blake was struggling with a back problem and turned him into a star…all these athletes and then now when they decided to do what they were not supposed to do and started struggling and then they wanted to blame the coach.”

Usain Bolt revealed that coach Glen Mills is the man who built him into the greatest sprinter of all time and if Yohan Blake and the rest had listened to him, they would have been great too.

He lauded the veteran tactician as a genius, revealing that he even coached him on how to conduct interviews and articulate himself well.

“That upset me so much and I told them that nobody would be there if not for coach…that man is a genius. I’m just a simple human,” Usain Bolt revealed.

“I owe a lot of things to my coach, even when it comes to interviews, he coached me well. He always figured out ways to get around situations…that’s how smart and intelligent my coach is.
