“Parliament has lost a diligent and dedicated legislator. The passing of Hon. Moses Malulu Injendi is a great loss to his constituents and the nation at large. During my tenure as Speaker of the National Assembly, I had the honor of working alongside Hon. Injendi, whose commitment to legislative work was steadfast. His deep focus on education and the sugar industry reflected his tireless drive to improve the livelihoods of the people he served. He was a man who approached his duties with seriousness and purpose, always striving for meaningful impact. My deepest condolences to his family, friends, and the people of Malava. Baringo senator’s death

His death comes after weeks of speculation about his health, with him having missed President William Ruto’s development tour of the Western Kenya region.

He was known for his dedication to education and the sugar industry. He was also the Vice Chairman of the Departmental Committee on Education, where he played a key role in shaping policies to improve the education sector.

His death comes just a day after the death of  Baringo Senator William Cheptumo.

Cheptumo took over as Baringo Senator in 2022 after winning the position under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket.

Before that, he served as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Baringo North Constituency for 15 years having won the seat in 2008.
