Sha’Carri Richardson makes cryptic admission ahead of the 2025 season

Olympic medallist Sha’Carri Richardson explains about her best race ever.

Olympic relay champion Sha’Carri Richardson has finally given her adoring fans something to smile about by announcing her favorite race to date. 

Richardson, who rose to fame in 2019 as a freshman at Louisiana State University, running 10.75 seconds to break the 100m collegiate record at the NCAA Division I Championships, subsequently made a choice that will most likely surprise many.


Imane Khelif is fiercely defending her right to compete as the IBA challenges her Olympic eligibility, turning her victory into a broader gender battle in boxing.


Via the Track Spice X platform, the 100m world champion said: “If I have to pick other stuff aside from these, my favorite moment of course would be earning my silver at the Olympics, this 2024 Olympic Games.”

Richardson finished second behind Saint Lucia’s Julien Alfred, who had a faster start out of the blocks and never relinquished her lead. Sha’Carri Richardson, who prides herself as the fourth fastest American woman in 100m, maintained that she is on the right path to greatness.

Sha’Carri will hope to rediscover her winning formula at major events this year after the Paris heartbreak. The 24-year-old will hope to successfully defend her world championship title in Tokyo although it won’t be as easy as it appears.

Dallas-born Richardson is of African-American descent and was raised by her grandmother, Betty Harp, and an aunt.
