Raila failed on February 15 after withdrawing from the sixth round, leaving his main opponent, Djobouti's long -time foreign affairs minister Mahmoud Youssouf, winning 33 votes in the seventh round.

Kisumu residents want Raila Odinga to do

After his victory was announced, Kenyans appeared on social networks to respond, showing different views.

Residents from the ODM Stadium were not pleased with some of them marching on the road chanting 'Ruto must go' to express their sadness.

One resident known as Hesbon was in a television interview where he asked Raila to consider being on the ballot in 2027.

“If Hesbon Onyango of Bondo. Residents of Kisumu We welcome him very much, when we come home, Raila will welcome him.

Another resident named Oginga The Beast revealed that he was pleased with Raila's loss as it would cause Kenya to suffer.

“You didn't get that seat or because we want you. Back home, without you Kenya can't be Kenya. And without you in 2027 votes there would be no election,” Said Oginga.

How Siaya's women said after Raila failed

In a similar report, a woman from Siaya County described how she was disappointed after Raila lost her mission of becoming the next chairman of the AUC.

Elizabeth Auma Oduor, a resident of Siaya, during an interview with Citizen TV, said she was saddened by the results shortly after the AUC results were announced.

He also noted that he hoped the veteran politician would consider running for the top seat during the 2027 general election.

Kenyans dismissed by Raila defeat in the AUC vote

Raila's defeat by his opponent from Djibouti has sparked different feelings from Kenyans.

One part celebrated Raila's loss claiming that he betrayed him when he started working with Ruto While others showed the awakening.

Many expected that the AUC position would be held by a Kenyan to focus on the country and to see what the politician would do in the continent.
