Raila missing the AUC seat to make a woman from Siaya to the right: “It's bitter”

A woman from Siaya County is sad after Raila Odinga Failure in the election of the AUC Chairman.

How the presidents voted in the AUC elections

Mahmoud Youssouf of Djibouti got 33 votes and won the vote. The final results were achieved after strong circles of the secret ballot of the state and government in the Nelson Mandela hall. While the heads of 49 countries participated in the vote, the winner needed two -thirds of all votes, which are 33.

In the first round of the vote, Raila won by 20 votes against 18 Mahmoud and 10 Randiamandrato votes. The Madagascar candidate was removed from the first round. In the second round, Raila received 22 votes against 19 and 7 Mahmoud's Madagascar candidate.

One of the voters restrained himself in phase 2. In the third round, Djibouti's candidate defeated Raila by 23 votes. Raila got 20 votes. The Madagascar candidate got five votes. In the fourth round, Mahmoud got 25 votes against Raila's 21 votes.

The vote continued until the fifth round, in which the Djibouti candidate expanded the gap; Mahmoud got 26 votes, while Raila got 21 votes.

What did Kenyans say after Raila Odinga lost?

Elizabeth Auma Oduor, a resident of Siaya County, during an interview with Citizen TV, said she was saddened by the results shortly after the AUC results were announced.

“I am very bitter after Raila lost until I didn't work. Dad comes back we still love him. But we are hurt. 2027 will be president,” He said.
