DJ Mo re-proposes to Size 8 as they announce their reunion in emotional video
Gospel disc jockey Samuel Muraya widely known as DJ Mo has re-proposed to his wife, gospel artiste and pastor Linet Munyali alias Size 8 months after they announced their split.
Taking to their respective Instagram account on Friday, February 14, 2025, the power couple shared a video of their colourful second wedding proposal with a heartfelt message, revealing their journey of reconciliation and renewed love.
In addition, the two love birds disclosed that their marriage journey has not been a bed of roses adding that despite many obstacles they were able to choose to love each other again.
The two attributed their reunion to the grace given by God.
“Grateful to God for blessing our marriage and keeping our love strong through every challenge. No matter the obstacles that come our way, The Lord gave us the grace to overcome and hence we were able to choose to love each other,” a joint message of Size 8 and DJ Mo’s about their renewed love.
“This is the doing of the Lord… For sure what God cannot do, does not exist. All praise and Glory goes to God our Father through Jesus Christ.”
Second-time proposal
In a video shared by the couple, DJ Mo went down on one knee revealing a small ring box in a beautifully arranged outdoor romantic space, where a large heart shape made entirely of deep red roses lies before them and at the centre of the heart, carefully arranged artistic art spell out the words ‘will you marry me?’ surrounded by white candlelight.
Apart from the intimate set-up, the couple, elegantly dressed in matching shades of blue outfits, DJ Mo in a sharp blue suit and Size 8 in a stunning blue gown.
Break up
Size 8, on August 1, 2024, announced that her 11-year marriage with the DJ Mo has come to an end, and she is now embracing single life.
She acknowledged that while marriage can be a divine blessing, it sometimes does not work out as one hopes adding that she was starting a new chapter as a single woman.
“Sometimes marriage works by God’s grace and sometimes it does not work but all in all God is still on the throne!!!! I’ve been married for 11 years and now I start the Journey of singlehood! But God is still on the throne I worship you, Yahweh!” Size 8 shared.
