In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, she revealed how she recharged after the intense Olympic season, emphasizing her deep commitment to maintaining balance in her life.

“I am very much a rest and recovery girl. I did water therapy, sound therapy, the spa, met with a wellness advisor—the entire thing was tailored to resting and regrouping, which is just so central to my life and my core beliefs,” she expalined.

“I was waking up and doing what I felt like doing. I didn’t feel stressed or pressured. I have so much of that in my day-to-day life and I really wanted a break from it. My life is really all about balancing. It’s huge for me.”

Thomas’ post-Olympics getaway took place in October 2024, when she traveled to the Maldives with her boyfriend, Spencer McManes.
