Veteran journalist and renowned radio broadcaster Fred Obachi Machaka has expressed his outrage at plans to bury the broadcaster Leonard Mambo Mbotela in the Lang'ata cemetery.

Why is Makaka upset about the burial of Mbotela
Using his Facebook page, Machokaa criticized the decision, saying it did not respect Mbotela's significant contribution to Kenya.
He called for a more respected funeral for the media, saying:
“Today I am angry, very angry! Burning the remains of Ngotela Things at the Lang'ata cemetery is wrong. Mr. President, you have heard of?
Media reports emerged on February 9 indicating that Mbotela, who passed away two days ago at the age of 85, will be buried at Lang'ata cemetery on February 15.
The eyes had also saluted Mbotela writing:
“Rest in peace, older brother, counselor, ghost and elder friend Leonard Things Mbotela. Because of you and the other rivals who have also passed, we come out. You older brother, you made the world of broadcasting.”
This disclosure sparked a great deal of anger among Kenyans, who supported the views of the eyes, insisting that Mbotela deserved a place to rest the most respectful.
Mbotela, known for his famous period of Is this a gentleman? An interesting term was a prominent person in the Kenyan news industry for decades.
He passed away while receiving treatment at Nairobi West Hospital. Mbotela has left his wife Alice Mwakali and their three children Aida, Jimmy and George.
His younger brother, Donald Mbotela, told the media that the veteran journalist seemed to recover before his health was bad.
