Alessio Bozzolasco triumphs at Malindi leg of 2025 NCBA golf series

Alessio Bozzolasco was the highlight of the Malindi leg as focus now shifts to Kiambu Golf Club.

Malindi Golf & Country Club’s Alessio Bozzolasco delivered a stellar performance at his home course over the weekend, clinching the Overall Winner title in the ongoing 2025 NCBA Golf Series.

Playing off a handicap of 10, Bozzolasco carded a remarkable nett score of 66, outshining a competitive field of golfers drawn from Malindi and the wider coastal region.

His victory secures him a coveted spot in the series’ Grand Finale later in the year.

In the Men’s Category, Tukero Ole Kina (handicap 14) emerged victorious with a nett score of 67, narrowly edging out Philip Matei (handicap 23), who finished as the runner-up.


Elite golfers for the Absa Magical Kenya Open have been named with a significant financial boost.


Meanwhile, in the Ladies’ Category, Silvana Franciolli (handicap 21) claimed the top spot after carding a nett score of 71. Auma Obama (handicap 30) followed closely behind, securing the runner-up position with a score of 72.

Among the junior golfers, Emmanuel John (handicap 33) put on an outstanding display, posting a nett score of 65 to clinch the Junior Winner title.

The Nearest to the Pin challenge saw Ali Abdallah win in the Men’s category with a distance of 8.45 meters, while Susan Waithaka emerged as the top Lady golfer with a distance of 10.10 meters.

With the Malindi leg concluded, attention now shifts to Kiambu Golf Club, which is set to host the fourth leg of the series on March 15th.
