Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has clapped back at President William Ruto after he bragged that he holds a PhD and needed not to be lectured on matters by individuals with less education during his tour of the North-Eastern region on February 6, 2025.
In a rejoinder on Saturday, February 8, 2025, Musyoka, who is a lawyer, listed a host of his qualifications which included being the 10th Vice President of Kenya, a senior counsel, Masters of Law, University of Nairobi Bachelor of Law (LLB Honours), University of Nairobi Post Graduate Diploma in Law, Kenya School of Law Honorary Degree in Agriculture, Nanjing University, China and Doctorate of Letters (Honoris Causa), Kenyatta University Doctorate of Divinity, Latin University of Theology.
Kalonzo’s other qualifications
Kalonzo equally revealed that he was an International Mediator, Association of Professional Mediators Certified Secretary, Institute of Public Secretaries of Kenya and had a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management, the Mediterranean Institute of Management from Nicosia, Cyprus.

(How would you listen to a person who is not a herder, does not own livestock and only farms green gram who comes here in Garissa to tell you that you do not have to vaccinate your cattle because of someone called Bill Gates.)
This came after Kalonzo joined opposition politicians in rejecting a nationwide vaccination drive by the government, citing reservations about who was behind the project.
Just hours after Ruto’s sentiments in Garissa, Kalonzo posted a video of himself herding a herd of cattle on his farm, ostensibly to clap back at the head of state who had alluded that he was only a ndengu farmer.
Hidden vaccination agenda
In a press conference in Nairobi on Friday, November 15, 2024, Kalonzo stated that the planned vaccination exercise had a hidden agenda, which could bring with it a host of complications to cattle and human populations in the future.

“The proposed vaccination project has all the markings of a sinister foreign agenda. It does not augur well for the pastoralist groups and this nation as a whole,” Kalonzo said.
Adding: “The plan wants to introduce gene-modifying drugs into the Kenyan bovine livestock in order for them to ostensibly cease emitting methane gas into the atmosphere. We take note that these vaccinations developed overseas have been rejected everywhere else in the world, including in the United States of America.
