The former Ndaragwa MP said the decision would reduce the growing process of moving the party.

Speaking in court after the decision, Kioni did not hesitate to criticize politicians who change obedience for personal gain, comparing the tradition to political prostitution.

Kioni claimed the vice -president was accused of what he described as political unrest in the country after the 2022 elections.

Why did the Supreme Court decide against Kenya first

The decision, which strengthens the position of a resolution in the national parliament, has brought shock to the political situation.

The court found that Wetang'ula violated the constitution when he announced Kenya first Be a majority party in October 2022.

In a decision made by three judges on Friday, February 7, judges John Chigiti, Jairus Ngaah and Lawrence Mugambi confirmed that the resolution is the one holding the majority votes in the National Assembly.

The decision followed Wetang'ula's complex decision to re -hand over 14 members from various parties to Kenya first, and to change the balance of powers and favor the ruling coalition.

However, the court said that the Speaker had no legal reasons for the decision.

The three judges' bench said that although the Speaker of Parliament had evidence from the Registrar of Political Parties showing that the Resolution Coalition was the main party, he completely ignored the evidence.

The judges said that the allegations of the Speaker and the leader of the majority Kimani Ichung'wa that there was a post -election agreement between One Kenya Alliance and other Resolution Coalition parties were never supported by any evidence.
