Meru – A sad case was witnessed in the Muliuntuine area of Igembe North, Meru County, after a farmer was attacked by an aggressive elephant.

The man was reportedly working in his Miraa farm when the elephant suddenly attacked him, causing a serious attack.
A video seen by TUKO.co.ke trains when the big animal overcame him, trampling him and leaving him with serious injuries.
Despite the great efforts of the villagers seeking to scare the elephant loudly, he still did not give up and continued his attack and eventually killed the farmer at the scene.
The attack, which took place on Wednesday, January 5, has raised concerns among residents, who have repeatedly complained about the growing threat of human and wildlife conflicts in the area.
Locals say wild animals, especially elephants, often disappear from protected areas to rural and rural areas, destroy crops and endanger life.
