Kenyan renowned journalist Ken Mijungu has left Ktn After only four years at the Standard Group news agency.
Why did Ken Mijungu leave ktn?
The broadcaster used his X (former Twitter) account to share such shocking news, which many of his fans did not expect.
In his post, the news broadcaster said that a good player knows when to leave the stage, and this was his opportunity to do so.
Mijungu said that the four years he spent KTN was full of excitement and high quality, but now he wants to do something new.
The journalist also dismissed his colleagues and wished them all the best in their future.
“A good player knows when to leave the stage! 4 years of high excitement and exceptional quality, though it wasn't easy to predict. It's time to find something else to do when I can still. Ever thank God, my colleagues @standardgrouplc and @ktnnewske. Adios ! “ He wrote.
In his post, Mijungu did not specify whether his next step would still be in the news industry or if he took a different direction, as some writers have recently done.
While many of his fans felt sad to see him leave, they also wished him all the best in his new journey.
