The tactician joined the Tanzanian giants in November 2024 but has now quit after receiving an irresistible offer from Algeria.
German coach Sead Ramovic was offered nearly three times his salary by Algerian club CR Belouizdad, prompting his abrupt departure from Tanzania giants Yanga.
Ramovic dumped Yanga on Tuesday just 81 days after his appointment in November, in a decision that shocked the club, players and supporters.
It now has emerged that Ramovic was offered an irresistible offer by Belouizdad that was too good to turn down and he opted to walk away from his contract with Yanga to move to Algeria.
Tanzanian giants Yanga have wasted little time in finding a replacement for Argentine coach Miguel Gamondi who was sacked earlier on Friday following the unveiling of a new tactician.
As per reports, Ramovic will earn $40,000 (Ksh5,166,800) per month at the Algerian club, nearly triple the$15,000 (Ksh1,937,550) monthly salary he was being paid at Yanga.
Ramovic joined Yanga on November 15, 2024 after signing a one-year deal, replacing Argentine Miguel Gamondi who was sacked over poor results but leaves after less than three months.
The tactician had started putting his imprint on the team that had been playing an attacking brand of football, and he leaves them second on the table with 42 points from 16 matches, one behind leaders Simba.
Ramovic joined Yanga from South African side TS Galaxy where he had impressed during his three years at the club.
