Why is Ruto not overwhelmed by the 2027 general election?
The national leader said he was not worried about the statement that he was president of one term, insisting that the 2027 elections would not be different from the previous one.
He suggested that he would be re -elected for the second term, as was the case with other former presidents.
In his pronunciation, Ruto He emphasized that 2027 is still far away, and debates about the election should not happen earlier.
“You are scared by the 2027 negotiations. This is not my concern. Will the 2027 elections be different from the one we had before? What is the problem?
The president also targeted Gachagua, suggesting that the former Mathira MP has never been president and does not know what is needed to lead the country.
“I will not be threatened with threats about 2027. I have served as a member of Parliament for 15 years, deputy president for 10, and now, I am president.
President Ruto emphasized that he focuses on his work, especially the implementation of key projects, including education policies, universal health care (UHC), and infrastructure development.
“Right now, I am focusing on building roads, addressing electricity and water issues, ensuring children go to school, and implement the UHC. That is the task, and I promise to work tirelessly to bring benefits to the country,” President Ruto concluded.

The president's response comes as the call increases from his allies to end such threats.
Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot criticized Gachagua explaining that he had no authority to threaten Ruto especially considering that he had been dismissed and did not end his term for alleged fraud.

Meanwhile, a former MP Luck Kimani Ngunjiri warned the former Deputy President against developing a one -term story.
Ngunjiri called on Gachaea to show respect for Ruto, emphasizing that the president was democratically elected by Kenyans.
Additionally, Ngunjiri raised concerns that Gachagua's allies threaten political activists, which he believes could lead to confrontation between conflicting wing.
