William Ruto rewarding Dedan University students Kimathi Ksh 1m

It will be remembered that this is not the first time Ruto has rewarded students at the country's higher education college.

In March 2024, the President visited the University of Dedan Kimathi in Nyeri and promised to provide KSh 1 million for student entertainment.

After making the money, the students were given three options: to distribute money equally, prepare lunch, or serve as a student's bursary.

The students chose to distribute the money equally, and a representative from the school confirmed TUKO.co.ke that each would receive KSh 180.
