Migori inducts new staff to revitalize service delivery – Kenya News Agency

Migori County will conduct a week-long induction session for its 225 new employees to help the county achieve better service delivery.

Speaking during the first induction session in one of the hotels in Migori town, Migori County Public Service Board Chairperson David Ochilo said that the county administration under Governor Dr. Ochilo Ayacko was committed to ensuring that service delivery was achieved for the public’s benefit.

“Today we have started with the department of Medical Services and health where the 80 medics have been inducted in readiness for deployment in all of our 167 healthcare facilities,” said Ochola.

The newly employed staff, hired in December 2024 will help the county in various sectors to efficiently carry out service delivery for the betterment of the county residents.

Migori County Public Service Board CEO Andrew Ochilo said that the recruited exercise selected the most qualified and experienced personnel to help the county achieve its service delivery targets.

However, the CEO called upon the newly employed staff to demonstrate national values and principles of good governance and take their job descriptions and responsibilities seriously to serve the county residents well.

Ochilo said that human resources are key in any development highlighting that the new staff will boost the service efficiency.

“We still have huge gaps in service delivery, but through our able governor, we will be relooking at some of the areas that need urgent recruitment to continue boosting our service delivery,” added Ochilo.
