Following the announcement of her ban, Alice Aprot denied the charges, and stated that on May 28, 2022 when she was at a training camp, she experienced sharp breast pains and rushed to a pharmacy.

However, it was also confirmed that the medicine did not have the ingredients that were found in her system but Alice Aprot still defended her decision.
