Digital creator Milly Chebby has disclosed that she could have effortlessly timed her pregnancy so that her daughter, Millan Etai, would be born on the same day as her birthday—but she had a deliberate reason for not doing so.
Taking to her Instagram stories on Monday, January 3, 2025, Milly noted that she had only now come to fully grasp that her birthday and Millan’s are just two weeks apart.
It was at this point that Milly pointed out she had made the decision years back after realizing their birthdays were set to fall on the same date, and she intentionally adjusted things to ensure they were spaced apart.
She explained that her goal was to sidestep the hassle of celebrating both milestones on the same day.
“It’s a new month. It’s Monday. By the way, I just realized Millan and I are exactly two weeks apart in birth. And I did it on purpose. If I had wanted Millan to be born on the 18th—my birthday—she would have been, but I was like, nope, I’m not sharing my special day with anyone!” she revealed.
Celebrating separately
Milly, who was recently gifted a Toyota Vitz by her husband, Terence Creative, during her birthday celebration, went on to advise her fans against the growing trend of aligning special occasions, saying it’s exhausting and unnecessary.
The digital creator pointed out that she has seen couples intentionally planning to have their children’s birthdays land on the same day as their wedding anniversary to make it seem more memorable, but she insisted that each person should have their own spotlight.
According to Milly, it’s not that shared birthdays aren’t exciting, but rather that every family member deserves a distinct and unique day of celebration.
“Let me give you some wisdom—never share a birthday! Ati your wedding day and birthday are on the same date? No way! Let every person have their moment. Even me, I have zero interest in sharing my birthday with anyone. I know it might sound sweet, but no—each family member should be celebrated individually!” she stated.
Milly’s birthday surprise
The content creator was speaking in light of her birthday on January 18, 2025, which her husband marked with a lavish celebration that had fans talking.
On this day, Milly was showered with gifts, including a relaxing spa retreat and the grand unveiling of a brand-new car—a surprise that later sparked mixed reactions online.
In a video she shared on Instagram, her husband was seen driving her in their white Toyota Prado before dropping her off at an upscale spa, where she indulged in a luxurious pampering session.
Afterward, Terence picked her up and whisked her away to the surprise location, where he playfully blindfolded her before revealing the sleek new ride.
Overcome with excitement, Milly jumped in joy, unable to contain her happiness.
While sharing the moment on Instagram, she expressed how stunned she was that Terence managed to pull off such a grand surprise, especially since she was aware of the strict financial plans they had set for 2025.
“God did it, babe. I’m beyond grateful for this beautiful gift. Honestly, I wasn’t ready for this, knowing the financial plans we had for this year, but as you always say—God can provide for everything at once. You amaze me every single day,” she wrote.
