Tusker’s new Ugandan defender reveals lofty ambitions after finalising transfer

The Ugandan international is keen to help the Brewers to the league title following his move from Kampala-based Police FC.

Tusker FC new signing Denis Iguma is dreaming of lifting the FKF Premier League title with the team.

Iguma joined Tusker this month from Ugandan side Police FC and had to wait for the midseason transfer window to open before he could be registered.

The right-back, who can also play at centre-back, will boost coach Charles Okere’s team who are joint top of the FKF Premier League table with 36 points, same as Kenya Police, and he has been impressed by what he has seen, giving him confidence of a successful season.


The Brewers have received a big-money offer for the young striker who is reportedly eager to make the switch to North Africa.


“I am really impressed with the quality this team has. The players are young and very talented,” Iguma told Telecomasia.net.

“They have what it takes to take their career to the next level and I am here to complement what they have as a team with my experience. We are already speaking and learning from each other. I can’t wait for the rest of the season.”

With the midseason transfer window officially opening on Friday, the defender will hope that he would have been registered by the time take on KCB in their next match on Sunday February 1.
