The beloved monk allegedly disappeared anonymously on Tuesday, January 25, leaving his family, friends and colleagues worried.

The online congregation of FR Kinyua shared the report of a lost online person and asked the public to help them find Sister Ruth.

Father Kinyua thank Kenyans for prayer

The news spread quickly and soon the priest shared encouraging news.

“And finally, our daughter has been found, alive, safe and hopeful. Thank you, good people for your prayers. Praise the Almighty God,” He wrote happily.

She shared the same picture she had posted when Sister Ruth disappeared, which captured the woman's lovely smile.

Where does Sister Ruth work?

TUKO.co.ke, spoke to Father Kinyua who expressed his appreciation for the recovery after Sister Ruth was found.

“We thank Sister Ruth has been found. I can't say much but we are happy she is safe,” He said.

Father Kinyua earlier made a detailed statement about Sister Ruth, saying she works in St. Daniel Comboni's church, a Parish of Wisdom in the Nakuru Diocese.

The priest added that he lives in their monastery, located inside a church palace in Kivumbini County.
