Nairobi – Former Senator Millicent Omanga has called on the government to urgently address issues raised by Kenyans on the Social Health Authority (SHA).
SHA was launched in October 2024, as part of the President's government change William Ruto From the National Treasury of Hospital Insurance (NHIF) under the Act of the Social Health Insurance Fund of 2023.
However, due to the ongoing challenges in its implementation and the increased state of dissatisfaction among citizens, it has been investigated.
What is the Omanga warning
Omanga, the founding member of the ruling party of UDAhe called on the government to listen to the concerns of ordinary citizens who feel lacking in the plan.
In a sincere statement on Friday, January 31, Omanga highlighted that although the SH was created to provide affordable and affordable health care, it has left many Kenyans in despair.
He pointed out that the government's failure to address the shortcomings of the system has led to a state of despair among the public.
