The family of the late Lydia Tokesi is still facing the horrible death of their daughter who was found dead in Gataka forest, Kajiado County.

Families and close friends failed to restrain themselves from tears during the dead worship held in the Montezuma, Nairobi, Thursday, January 30, 2025.

In photos shared on social networks, family members were seen wearing white t -shirts with a photo of the deceased, “Justice Lydia Tokesi”.

Further photos showed the late mother holding the coffin in tears, a condition that expressed sadness in the mourning room.

Lydia's family wants justice to be done

His brother, Daniel Bukhala, expressed dissatisfaction with the silence of the security forces despite the evidence involving the chief suspect.

He said that no action was taken to ensure the family got justice for Lydia's death.

“The family, by his personal efforts, found his body, his personal car, and even informed the police of the last person he had. Until now, about a month since he was killed, the victim has not yet been arrested,” He said.

The 29 -year -old sister, a graduate of Moi University, reportedly disappeared on January 4, 2025.

His disappearance was associated with his long -term partner, Philip Orwa, who is the chief suspect of the murder.

A week after the report of his disappearance, his cut -off body was found in the Gataka forest.

According to reports, some of his body parts had been removed, which exacerbated the brutality of the killings.

The networks have sent their condolences to the family while sharing their sadness for this sad tragedy.
