A woman in Homa Bay County mourns following the death of her 40 -year -old father, Joseph Othim Amora.
This is after he discovered his father's body thrown into the bed in their house.
How did Joseph Othim Amora die?
Amora was reportedly killed by unknown attackers who stabbed him with a knife several times during a nighttime raid at his home.
According to Citizen Digital, the attackers hid the Amora's body under his bed after committing the crime and then escaped.
His daughter Amora said she heard a rush in her father's room, which made her rush to see what was going on. Then he found his father's body thrown under the bed.
The deceased's body was taken to Bethlehem's mortuary as an investigation into the killings was underway.
The local chief's assistant confirmed the incident, saying that the cause of the Amora's murder is still unknown.

Felix Popo, a former criminal who is now a community leader, condemned an increase in insecurity in the area.
The incident sparked outrage among residents, who temporarily prevented police from taking the body of the deceased.
A few days later, the former governor of Nairobi Mike Sonko He intervened to help the young child, promising to provide his support.
In a statement, Sonko said the incident was very upset, especially because the young child witnessed the murder of his father without any help.
Sonko, known for helping the poor, explained that he was ready to raise the child as he is now orphaned. He said the child should be brought to him so that he could continue to help him and continue the upbringing he left by his late father.
