Laikipia governor Joshua Irungu is found dead in his rental house

Laikipia governor Joshua Irungu was found dead in his rental house in the city of Nanyuki.

Earlier reports say that the governor's bodyguard, who was working with governor Irungu, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, January 29.

Laikipia East Police Commander, John Tarus, confirmed the tragic incident to the Nation, saying the security guard killed himself by bulling his pistol using his pistol

“In fact, the governor's guard died after shooting himself in the mouth,” Tarus said.

Tarus explained that the full details of the incident have not yet been accepted, and the investigation is ongoing.

Before his death, the security guard took a motorcycle to his house and told the driver to wait for them to return to Nanyuki.

A few seconds later, the motorcycle driver heard gunfire from the guard's house and ran to the police, who arrived and found him already in a state of breath.

His body was transported to the mortuary of the Nanyuki training hospital for storage, before official surgery was performed.

The deceased has left a small family, including his wife and a three -month -old baby.

MP Embakasi West Mark Mwenje is found dead

This comes a few months after Owiti Oyuech, a police officer who was serving Embakasi MP West Mark Mwenje, was found dead in his home.

Mwenje said that the Parliamentary Service Commission gave Owiti the responsibility of becoming a defense officer about two years ago.

Officer Sammy Ondimu Ngare, a close friend of Owiti, was deeply touched and told TUKO.co.ke that he could not explain what caused this tragic incident at the home of the brave police officer.

Owiti's body was transported to the corpse of the City Mortuary and, as a Muslim, was buried shortly after his home village in Seme, County Kisumu.

His friends and loved ones appeared on social networks to mourn the officer's death.
